Mini ITX cases
Hand crafted and laser cut compact enclosures for
ITX motherboards
These modular ITX enclosures are constructed from
precision-cut acrylic panels, held firmly in place using
custom-designed connection blocks. The result is a
lightweight but surprisingly rigid chassis that can be
assembled or disassembled with ease, making it highly
adaptable for different system builds. Two main sizes are
available: a 5-litre model, designed to provide the
smallest possible footprint for ITX boards while still
accommodating essential components, and an 8-litre
model, which includes two PCI brackets, and can
accommodate a DTX-sized motherboard, such as the
Elesar Titanium. This version is particularly useful for
mounting additional hard drives or expansion cards in the
PCI brackets, making it suitable for users who want extra
flexibility without moving up to a full desktop tower.
Both versions are designed to make the most of the ITX
form factor, offering efficient use of space while ensuring
airflow is not compromised. The use of matt black acrylic
panels gives the case a clean, modern appearance with
a lightweight feel, while the block-based assembly
system allows for quick access to internal components,
easy upgrades, and potential customisation. With its
compact footprint, the case is equally at home in a
desktop environment, as a small media system, or as the
foundation for a purpose-built RISC OS or Linux
machine.
Each case can host a standard power supply, and comes
complete with a power swtich/LED combo for power or
reset functions, set either on the top or to the rear.
Custom Wooden-Panel Variant
In this customised version, the standard acrylic front and
top panels are replaced with bespoke laser-cut wooden
alternatives, giving the case a very different appearance
and an extra level of functionality. The new wooden front
panel is designed specifically to house the power button
with an integrated LED indicator, as well as two USB
ports positioned for easy access. This makes the system
more convenient for everyday use, especially in
environments where front-mounted ports are preferable
to reaching around the rear panel.
The combination of wood and acrylic creates a hybrid
enclosure that blends the modern, modular construction
of the acrylic sides, base, and rear with the warmth and
individuality of a natural wood finish. The laser-cut panels
are precision-matched to the existing connection block
system, ensuring that strength, airflow, and modularity
are maintained. The end result is a compact ITX system
that is not only practical and easy to work with, but also
visually distinctive. For users who want something
functional yet customised, this version strikes a balance
between simple, modular design and a more traditional
look, while keeping the flexibility and compact size that
make the original enclosure so useful.
Matt black front and top panels are also included with the
wooden variant, should you change your mind. The
wooden panels are unfinished, so it can be tailored to
any desired shades and finishes.
Each model comes with full instructions are included to
help you build and fit your motherboard within the
enclosure.
